There has been a lot going on with preparations for the 2008 "Simply Healthy" fair and expo!

The 3rd Annual ''Simply Healthy: Creating Sustainable Communities" Simply Living Fair and Wellness Expo", Local Foods and Aging Well is November 13th, 14th and 15th, 2007. Keynote Presenter Judy Wicks, who is owner and founder of Philadelphia’s 25-year-old White Dog Cafe, and is a national leader in the local, living economies movement will speak in the Monroe County Public Library Auditorium. On Friday evening, November 14th there will be a Local Foods Dinner fundraiser. On Saturday, November 15th, from 9:00am to 5:00 pm choose from more than two dozen workshops and visit the Free Vendors area. At 7:00 pm attend the Healing Sound Concert. Local Foods Dinner, workshops, vendors and Healing Sound Concert featuring Bil Whitefeather, Native American Flutes , Ryan Anderson, Sacred Healing Rhythms, Dark Side Tribal Belly Dancers, Baraka, Natural Mystic Sacramentals, Janiece Jaffee, Storytellers, Patricia C. Coleman and Paul Swanson. are in the Unitarian Universalist Church, 2120 N. Fee Lane, Bloomington. This holistic, simply living, and spiritual lifestyle fair and wellness expo is presented by the Indiana Holistic Health Network in cooperation with the Center for Sustainable Living, Reiki Peace and Wellness Arts, Good Life Alternative and the Local Growers Guild .

"Simply Healthy" will feature more than two dozen workshops, a Free Vendors area where you can meet practitioners, learn about new products, purchase holistic products, eat food, have psychic and astrological readings, discuss holistic services, attend the 3rd annual Healing Sound Concert , attend Judy Wicks keynote presentation.

"Simply Healthy" is an opportunity to get a glimpse at services and products that might be of use to you in aging well. It is an opportunity to explore simply living resources, holistic and alternative health topics and resources through lectures, workshops and talking with experts.

Opportunities are available for Workshop Presenters, Vendors and Volunteers.
After a day of workshops, end “Simply Healthy” by relaxing Saturday evening at the 7pm with the ''Healing Sound Concert'' a fundraiser for the Simply Healthy Fair and Expo (tickets only $11 in advance). Saturday Workshops, November 15th from 9:00am to 5:00 pm choose from more than 20 workshops and presentations - register early and attend as many presentations as you desire - $11 General Admission, Students and Seniors $9, Children are Free (unless there is a specifed materials fee). Childcare available with pre-registration.

There has also been a lot with computers! At the moment, I am waiting to see if what I had been working on can be extracted from the crashed mother board. If it can be saved then I will not have to try and recreate it all. Too bad the computer would no longer recognize the external hard drive, so I couldn't save anything!
